I was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and have lived here all but one year of my life. I attended the University of Alabama where I received a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics. I worked in Huntsville, Alabama for a year in the research field. I did not feel in my heart that this was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. After much soul-searching, I returned to graduate school. I graduated from the University of Alabama with a Masters in Elementary Education. I taught Adult Basic Education for one year while in graduate school and then I taught 13 years with the Tuscaloosa County School System. I have been married to Tim Foster for 20 years. I was blessed to become a mom late in life and chose at that point to be a stay at home mom to our son, Seth. He will be in 1st grade here at ACA and I am thrilled to be teaching here. I feel that I am where God wants me to be and doing what He wants me to do.
