/files/Staff Folder/staff 08-09/_DUB8588.jpgI am blessed to be a part of the ACA faculty as the school librarian.  I am a wife, mother, teacher at church, and co-sponsor for the middle school cheerleaders.  I love the opportunity to impact young people both scholastically and spiritually.

I received my BS in secondary language arts from the University of Alabama in 1991.  I taught high school English in Montgomery for four years while my husband, Chris, attended law school.  Upon completion of his degree, we moved back to Tuscaloosa with two small boys to be near Chris’ parents and make our home.  Since then, we have added two more wonderful boys to our family.

When I have quiet time to myself (ha-ha), I love to read, sew, decorate and travel.  I learned to snow and water ski as a child, and still love to do both.   We are active members of First united Methodist Church where we volunteer in different ways.  God called me to be the Minister of Christian Education at First United Methodist Church for 4 years.  This will be my eighth year at ACA.  Our boys Andrew, John, Charlie, and Conner, are in 5th, 6th,  9th and 11th grade this year.  I thank God for the opportunity to be part of this life-changing school where our children can learn and grow in a safe, loving, Christian environment.
