Andrea Shelton

5th Grade

 My name is Andrea Shelton and I am currently teaching fifth grade History and Bible.  I am so excited to be serving in my first year at ACA.  I have had children at ACA for the past two years and have grown to love and respect so many people in the ACA family.  I consider it a blessing from God to now be a part of this wonderful family!
 
I received my Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Social Science with a middle school endorsement in 1997 from The University of Alabama.  Prior to becoming a stay at home Mom, I taught at Tuscaloosa Academy for 8 years.  During my time at Tuscaloosa Academy, I taught History and Geography along with serving in numerous extracurricular activities. 
 
I have been married to my husband Mike for 14 wonderful years.  We have two children, Anna Morgan and Davis, who both attend ACA.  Christ has blessed our family tremendously and we are so thankful for the salvation he has provided us.  We are active members at Five Points Baptist Church in Northport.
 
In my free time, I love being with my family just hanging out at our home, going out to eat, or going to the park.  My hobbies include traveling, reading, and hanging out with friends.  I look forward to a wonderful year at ACA – Go Patriots!
