My name is Angela Miller. This is my sixth year teaching elementary Spanish at ACA. I teach students in K5 all the way up to the 6th grade. I really enjoy introducing the students to the basic vocabulary and pronunciation of Spanish. I was an elementary student, myself, when I first learned to speak Spanish! My family moved to Guatemala to serve as missionaries for 15 years! I love sharing stories of my childhood growing up in a Spanish-speaking country with the students and I remind them that they can learn a foreign language much quicker than their parents! I hope you will ask them about the Spanish they are learning. It is a joy to hear them greet me in the halls or around town with an "Hola"!
My husband, Michael, and I have four children. They are all in school here at ACA. Micah in the 6th grade. Gabe in the 4th, Anna Grace in the 2nd and Jude in K5. This is the first year I have all four of my own children in Spanish class with me! Michael serves as the associate pastor at St. Mark United Methodist Church. Between our church family and school family, this family of six keeps me hopping! We are very blessed and love this school and town that God has planted us in! I look forward to meeting each of you and hearing about your families and lives!
