I am a Northport native, where I graduated from Tuscaloosa County High School. I received my Bachelor’s degree in early childhood development from the University of Alabama, and an Associates degree from Shelton State Community College. I plan to pursue my graduate degree this fall in human growth and family studies. This is my fourth year of teaching at ACA.
My husband of 18 years works for an industrial insulation company. We have 3 daughters who attend ACA. We are members at Valley View Baptist Church. My hobbies include reading, exercising, and spending time with family and friends.
I was fortunate to be raised in a loving Christian family who shared the love of Christ with me. I received Christ as my Savior at the age of `0 at a revival service. I am very lucky to have parents who are involved with the Gideons, and a brother and sister-in-law who will soon be missionaries in a little country outside of Russia. I enjoy teaching kindergarten and am amazed at the joy and fulfillment young children bring to my life.
