Nikki Abston
6th Grade
I was born in Heidelberg, Germany, but moved back to the United States soon after I was born. I spent most of my childhood in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. I came to Tuscaloosa after I graduated from high school to attend The University of Alabama. I received my BS in child development and my MA in elementary education.
My husband, Byron, is the Assistant Dean of Students at Shelton State Community College. We have four wonderful children. Abby is in the ninth grade, Emma is in the sixth grade, Bo is in the third grade, and Brock is in kindergarten. We are active members at First Baptist Church in Tuscaloosa.
I feel blessed to have the opportunity to have both a spiritual and academic impact on my students each day. I look forward to getting to know all the children and families in this wonderful school! I am excited to be teaching here at ACA!!
